Toad
What would this man be without the Brotherhood? Would he be a famous engineer? A jester in a Renaissance festival? A test dummy for medical procedures? More than like, poor little Toad would be dead. The amphibius mutant has the label of the "weak" member since his initation to the Brotherhood, always trying so hard to prove himself to be powerful, but always ultimately failing in the end. Even though he's a very smart individual, he doesn't know how to properly function in society. He's always trying to do something--like being a servant--thinking such actions would finally allow him to look powerful. Even to this day, Toad has yet to fully realize otherwise.
Real Name: Mortimer Toynbee
Basic Powers: Prehensile tongue, ability to stick to walls and enhanced leg muscles
Current Player: Sexyfrog
Affiliation: Brotherhood
Recent Board History:
By strapping on a teleportation belt, Toad had flung himself from Asteroid M and onto Earth once he gained word Magneto was killed by Apocalypse. Wanting to travel to Egypt to see Apocalypse so he could be granted a wish... whatever that may be... Toad, instead, run into a once thought missing Pyro. Excited, the two started to talk until Pyro talked Toad out of speaking with Apocalypse, saying such things that Apocalypse may use the wish against Toad later on. Now scared of the once though ancient messiah, Toad aimed to show off his belt... until he accidentally teleported himself once more without Pyro.

Toad ended up in Egypt after all.

A bit fearful, Toad ended up seeing a familiar face within the crowd wanting to see Apocalypse for a wish. He noticed Iceman, as Iceman immediately threatened Toad to shut up and stay in line before the x-Men's cover was blown. However, Apocalypse had already sensed the disturbance as the crowd chanted out to kill the Brotherhood after Magneto's demise. Toad, fearful, tried to explain himself, but Nur easily dismissed the death notion and instead used the power of the Cosmic Cube and teleported the X-Men and Toad back to Asteroid M. There, they found Professor X messing with Asteroid M's computer system.

Toad began to question Professor X. What was he doing at the Asteroid? Why wasn't he with the X-Men? What was going on? Why was Xavier standing? Toad had yet to realize Professor X... was a Horseman of Apocalypse.

Then Toad appeared, and when he did, he was very, very confused.

“The Brotherhood base?”

He was confused. Disoriented. What was he doing here of all places? Apocalypse said he would be sending them to their ‘true’ enemies, and even from the X-Men’s perspective he doubted that--wait, was that Xavier? And that girl, he thought she was in Sisters Gorgon. At least, last he checked, but it only made sense for her to be affiliated with someone knew now. Thankfully, no appearances from the Sisters had been made since Selene disappeared. She was an X-Man before that, too, he thought, so her being with Xavier, even a walking Xavier, made sense.

Their location, however, did not.

“What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you and your X-Men be finding a way to stop Apocalypse?”

Some of them had clearly thought so, though it was strange that so few X-Men were present when he was there. Wait, Apocalypse had said he was going to send them to their true enemy. Could Xavier and this girl be their true enemies? Yes! Yes, it made perfect sense! Even to the X-Men the Brotherhood could not be considered the most evil of villains, trying to help mutants even if it was at the humans’ expense. Actually…no, it didn’t make perfect sense. While Toad firmly believed that Xavier was a fool who needed to wake up and see what humans were doing to their kind, he knew on some level that the man was trying to do good.

Then again, this could all be a part of Apocalypse’s trickery, trying to make those sent here jump to a conclusion and make a horrible mistake, one that would give Apocalypse the advantage in the end. However, the question remained: what were these two doing here? Even if the Brotherhood and X-Men h ad teamed up, it was odd that they would leave a couple of their enemies alone in a room together on Asteroid M, for while they could be trusted not to hinder a mission against Apocalypse, they might plant bugs or something of the sort. However, he couldn’t begin to truly puzzle out what was going on until these two spoke.
