September '07 Player Spotlight - Wiccan "Expect the unexpected," seems to be a quote that greatly points toward Cullen. Nobody expected a newcomer to pick up a C-Lister character like Blindfold, nobody expected anybody to be capable in really getting Blindfold involved in anything, but yet, Cullen showed that even being a newcomer, he could RP with the best of 'em! Cullen has RPed Blindfold awhile now (no longer considered a newcomer), but with his ability to integrate Blindfold as seamlessly as he did shows what a powerful writer he is. Outside of Blindfold, Cullen is as nice as they come (except the possessed picture he posted!), and his presence is always welcome at neXus inside and outside of the board. Besides, without him, the board may never have a truly fleshed out Blindfold! Props to Cullen! |

Olivia had been “thrown” into a limo and driven to a private airport for the intent and purpose of pleasing her Black King. The limo ride had been very quite and reflected a tone of a last chance. This was after all Olivia’s last chance to save herself from Blackheart’s wraith. As the demon exited the vehicle, the seer could feel his demonic aura pulsating from his very core. This aura was something Blindfold was growing accustomed too; it caused a sensation and often various images of pure undiluted evil to appear in her mind. As she stepped out onto the runway her impatient host asked, "How long will this take?"
“Not long,” she said in a very confident tone of voice. As the two began to traverse the red carpet leading up to the private jet, Olivia beckoned the pilot to follow them into the plane’s cabin. Once aboard the plane the three found themselves drawing ever closer to the control room, until it was finally in sight and then they had past the threshold and entered the room that meant so much to Olivia. Once in the room the girl waited for the tiniest of seconds before asking “Can you show me how to transmit coordinates?” The pilot raised his eye brows as to him a girl with a blindfold has just asked to be shown a task that usually required sight. Unsure of an answer the pilot looked towards his employer who gave a silent nod, and the lessons began. Less then a half an hour later, Olivia had learned the ins and outs of the system, much to the surprise of her instructor. When she finally felt one hundred percent sure that she was capable of performing her task she again waited for a silent moment which she interrupted by saying simply, “Leave us!” The man again looked very puzzled and turned his head to Blackheart who silently gave him his second nod of the day. Within seconds the pilot had left the room, a bit baffled. This was it, this was the moment she had been waiting for since she had come to that god-forsaken club, the moment she had to prove herself worthy. Olivia could tell from her company’s mannerisms that he was getting quite impatient and now she would have to act fast. “Keep your pen and paper handy… you're about to use it.” Taking two steps forward, Olivia placed both of her hands over the navigational equipment and watched as the world around her began to fade away. With the new information she had learn, the young seer was able to peel away realities that had once clouded her sight and find the one she was looking for. The vision began innocently enough, with her unbuckling her seat belt from the long flight and walking into the control room. She saw herself peel through the entrance doors as she had peeled through the useless possible futures. Olivia then began to use the equipment, a code here and there until finally a set of coordinates appeared. Speaking out to the demon she said, “Three, zero, degree symbol, zero, one, apostrophe, five, five, quotation mark, N, comma, three, one, degree symbol, zero, four, apostrophe, three, zero, quotation mark, E. That’s it…” If only that was it, while she had concentrated on the one number long enough her vision had began to wonder. It entered Apocalypse’s sanctuary and focused on the cube. Olivia kept the focus until Apocalypse head seemed to turn and look straight in her direction giving off a strange grin. Afraid she had been detected Olivia broke her psychic connection and made no mention of the ordeal to Blackheart. | |
